Whether our homecare or person-directed disability support services will be publically funded for you depends on your individual situation:
- Disability support services are funded by the Ministry of Health. These services are for people (generally under 65 years of age) with a long-term physical, intellectual and/or sensory impairment that will require ongoing support (for more information on eligibility refer to Am I eligible?)
- ACC funds home and personal care support services as well as some service components of Nursing and Allied Health services following an accident to support a Client’s return to independence or attain their maximum level of participation in everyday life.
- Home and Community Support Services for older persons are funded by District Health Boards throughout New Zealand. Geneva Healthcare is a contracted service provider for the following District Health Boards:
- Northland
- Waitemata
- Counties Manukau
- Taranaki
- Whanganui
- MidCentral
We also run a social good initiative called Change Day. Change Day is about doing something, no matter how big or small, that improves the healthcare experience for Kiwis. It is our way of helping build a more caring New Zealand.
