New Zealand has 20 regional District Health Boards (DHBs). One area where they generally provide funding support is for older people over 65. Each DHB has its own assessment unit who will look at each individual case and decide whether they will fund support services.
You can find out more about your DHB’s services by visiting healthpoint.co.nz, selecting your region, then choosing the Community Health Services option.
Below is a list of the DHBs with links to information on their support services.
